SYSTEMS UPGRADE
SEPT-DEC ‘26 / 20 12 SPOTS LEFT
Your nervous system and your business are a living ecosystem - it’s time to operate as one.
A 14-week implementation programme for practitioners and founders who have outgrown the machine they built - and are ready to rebuild it on living ground.
NOT a business course with a bit of ‘somatics’. A rebuild from the root: your operational systems and your nervous system capacity grown in the same soil, at the same time.
You've built a business that works - the vision is clear, the clients are there, the work is working. What’s not, is the ground it's all growing in.
You're running an expanding practice on a structure built for a smaller season of it, and a nervous system that learned to perform under pressure long before this business existed. The ecosystem is asking for more than the substrate can currently hold.
Isabel was working 12-hour days with clients in the diary and income coming in, yet still couldn't tell you where the money was going or how she was ever going to expand past this stage. She had her MSc and SEP training, but none of that gave her the structure to execute the vision she had. Enter Sasha - bringing 10 years running operations for big tech - we realised what we each brought wasn't just complementary, but it was the combination this space had been missing entirely.
This is the bottleneck almost nobody talks about: at a certain point, your problem stops being skill, ambition, or even strategy. It becomes capacity - operational and physiological, all at once.
Your business needs systems your nervous system can't yet hold. Your nervous system needs conditions that your business hasn't yet created.
Systems Upgrade is where both are grown and implemented together. Not in sequence, not separately - the whole ecosystem, at once, from the ground up.
So if you're wondering why the plans don’t stick, why the launches feel like crisis events, why rest still feels like it costs you income: this is the environment for that conversation.
Systems Upgrade is a nervous-system-first implementation programme for practitioners, founders, and vision-led humans whose businesses have grown past what their current ecosystem can hold.
This is not a course where you just rock up to live calls with a journal or listen to the recordings later while cooking dinner, it's an implementation intensive.
You leave with a working Notion system, a nervous system with measurably more capacity, a financial dashboard you’re excited to look at each month, and a planning rhythm that holds through the seasons - the full ones and the fallow ones.
We're not interested in motivation - you've had enough of that. We're interested in what happens when the structure, the state and the systems are finally built to match the work you want to be doing.
An operating system and environment: yours to take away and live in, by week 14.
A healthy ecosystem has layers. Not one thing built on top of another in sequence, but interdependent roots growing together. Over 14 weeks, we build out the four layers most ‘business’ coaching programmes either separate, or skip entirely.
The four layers of a living, breathing ecosystem
(01) Nervous System capacity
The soil everything else grows in. We work directly with the autonomic nervous system to expand your capacity for growth, visibility and responsibility - so that taking action and holding more stop being a fight against your own neurophysiology. We will be using a blend of psychotherapeutic and somatic techniques pulling on Isabel’s background as a Psychotherapist, SEP and behavioural science researcher.
(02) Planning & execution architecture
The structure your growth can climb. Daily, weekly, quarterly, annual planning - all built hands-on inside your Notion Companion, and all designed around your actual nervous system, not a robot expected to work 12-hour days and weekends.
A planning rhythm that holds through the messy weeks and the spacious ones. The seasons, built in from the start.
(03) Financial infrastructure
The nourishment layer. A complete financial architecture - income, expenses, pricing, buffer, decision-making dashboard - alongside the somatic work that meets whatever surfaces when you finally look at the numbers.
Money stops being the thing you're avoiding, it becomes the sustenance and fertiliser for the whole system.
(04) Boundaries, visibility & recovery
The recovery layer. Every living system needs periods of rest to remain generative. Delegation, energetic protection, sustainable visibility, recovery and leaning in on the support of the other living breathing ecosystems around us.
This is what determines whether the system thrives or quietly burns its founder down to keep growing.
‘Isabel has an incredible ability to make you feel so safe and at ease while pulling you outside of your comfort zone. This session was an impactful 90 minutes, with tangible questions and a focus on the next steps at a realistic pace. Thank you for hosting this!’ - Gena, Canada
‘This course has meant so much to me. I hoped it would help me with capacity and the ability to act on what is important to me, but did I believe it actually would the way it has? Probably not! Obvs this was based on my own self concept and beliefs about myself, rather than the course itself. The course really did facilitate the space & community for meaningful change along with the knowledge & useful practical advice that I could implement immediately. Since finishing the course I am keeping my angst free promises to myself with a consistency I have never before managed. I have integrated the wisdom of showing up daily for doable bite sized chunks and I've felt my capacity expand within 2 weeks!!’ - Sharifa, UK
‘Expect to be held. Isabel comes equipped with the tools, the depth of knowledge and most importantly, the embodiment to guide you into deeper intimacy with yourself. Having you learn on the deepest level that your body houses the wisdom to bring clarity, to bring expansion and to bring more safety. All that’s needed is to simply experience more and more little by little.’ - Iykechi, USA
(01) Map - We start with a full, honest audit of what's actually running the ecosystem right now - the business, the schedule, the finances, the patterns. Nothing changes until you can see clearly what's already there.
(02) Build - We install the operational layer inside a Notion Companion you build alongside us, in real time. Planning, finances, execution, visibility - the structure your new growth will use to climb.
(03) Expand - We grow the nervous system capacity that lets you run all of it without paying for the growth in burnout tax. So when the next launch lands, the next slow season hits, the next opportunity opens: the ecosystem holds. And so do you.
How an ecosystem gets rebuilt:
You can call this top-down watering meeting bottom-up nutrients.
Not the body fixed so the business can function and not the business fixed so the body can rest. The same soil, nourished, and ready for the next season of growth.
Our approach: Structure, systems and state, built at the same time
By the time someone arrives here, they've usually tried both directions separately. Strategy programmes that built clean frameworks on top of a dysregulated system - and collapsed the moment things got hard. Or inner work that calmed the body but left the business as chaotic as it started.
The reason neither held isn't intelligence or effort. It's that they were each working on one layer of a two-layer problem.
A regulated nervous system without operational structure is calm but unstructured. Operational structure without a regulated nervous system is elegant but inevitably chaotic. The work of Systems Upgrade is to build both at once.
Sasha brings the operational side: ten years in tech, scaling multi-million dollar businesses, and the Notion architecture we'll build out with you live, week by week. Isabel brings the neurophysiological side: Somatic Experiencing®, NARM and DARe principles, plus the nervous system work that determines whether any structure can actually be inhabited.
NOT a business course with a bit of ‘somatics’. A rebuild from the root: your operational systems and your nervous system capacity grown in the same soil, at the same time.
Where operational expertise and real implementation meet Somatic Experiencing®, NARM, DARe principles, so the business you're building actually becomes one your body and mind can run.
We start with a full, honest audit. Your business, your week, your finances, your patterns. Nothing changes until we see clearly what's already there.

Systems Upgrade Curriculum
-
Before anything grows, the ground has to be ready.
This week is about arrival - not content delivery. Before we build anything, we create the conditions for it: safety, orientation, and a clear sense of what you've signed up for and why. We meet each other, we map the land, and we establish the neurological case for why this programme is sequenced the way it is. You leave this week with a lay of the land, the self-trust muscle being built from day one.
-
Understanding the substrate everything else grows in.
This is the intellectual and physiological foundation for everything that follows. Before any system makes sense, you need to understand why you work the way you work - why pressure activates you, why you procrastinate, why success can feel just as threatening as failure. We cover the autonomic nervous system, the window of tolerance, and what hyper and hypoarousal actually look like in the working day - not as emotional states, but as operational ones. This isn't theory for theory's sake, it's the map that makes everything else legible. We also introduce and run the first group Somatic Experiencing® session: grounding, orienting, resourcing - the foundational practices you'll return to all 14 weeks and beyond.
-
A full, honest look at what's already growing - and what isn't.
Before we build anything new, we audit everything that's already running. A full inventory of how you generate income, how you deliver your work, what your current systems are (or aren't), and what you've been avoiding looking at. We also surface the personal patterns underneath: your relationship with money, rest, control, and delegation. The chaos map - what your week actually looks like versus what you think it looks like - tends to be its own revelation.
This week you identify your Point A clearly: the specific pain points, the nervous system responses, the places where the current ecosystem is most depleted. -
A vision your nervous system can really orient toward (not just fantasize about).
Most vision work stays cognitive - a nice document that gets visited twice a year. This module does something different. Using science-backed neurological rehearsal (the brain cannot distinguish between a vivid imagined experience and a real one), we translate vision from something you've written down into something your body believes is possible. The gap between those two things is where most people get stuck. You'll build a functional vision anchor inside your Notion Companion - not decorative, but operational - and do the identity work of asking: who does the version of you that already has this operate as? What do they do on a Tuesday when things feel hard? The somatic session this week works with pendulation: moving between your safety anchor and your expansion anchor, slowly growing what the system can hold without collapsing.
-
The season where things take root.
No new content this week. That's intentional. The first three modules carry significant weight - the nervous system framework, the honest audit, the vision work - and rushing past the integration is exactly the pressure-based pattern we're here to interrupt. This week, you revisit what's landed, notice what's shifted in the body, and run the first quarterly planning ritual: the habit of zooming out before zooming in. We also hold a vision seeding check-in - not evaluative, but calibrating. A chance to feel the difference between where you were in week one and where you are now.
-
Planning built for real life seasons.
Conventional planning and the ‘grind’ assumes a regulated, consistent, resourced person. Most of us aren't that person every week due to the systems we live in affecting our own neurophysiology. This module builds a short-term planning practice that accounts for actual capacity and creates momentum even on the hard weeks. We build your daily planner, weekly planning ritual, and task management system inside the Notion Companion - hands-on and interactively, not passively. We also introduce pacing and seasonality: cyclical working, inner seasons, and how to plan with your natural energy rhythms rather than against them. The somatic session this week works with resistance to structure - because the nervous system that learned to survive on chaos doesn't always trust being held.
-
The plan and the person have to grow together.
Here's what most long-term planning misses: if your system doesn't feel safe enough to have big goals, it will quietly self-sabotage every roadmap you create. This module combines the strategy of quarterly and annual planning with the somatic work of expanding what you can actually receive. You'll build your quarterly planner, project tracker, and annual roadmap inside the Notion Companion - and in the somatic session, we work with the future self: what does your body do when it tries to hold the vision you say you want? Where does it contract? This gives us information to tend to.
-
What you avoid looking at can't feed you.
How you earn, spend, save, and avoid looking at your numbers is not a discipline issue - it's a response with roots that go back further than your business. This module brings the full financial picture into view and begins to rewire the fear, avoidance, or scarcity responses underneath it. Sasha leads the full financial architecture build inside your Notion Companion: income, expenses, monthly dashboard, cash buffer, data-driven decision making. Isabel leads the somatic session: working with whatever surfaces when you finally look at the real numbers - the shame, the avoidance, the grief of what you've been leaving on the table. You leave this module with a clean financial architecture and a calmer nervous system inside it. Money stops being the thing you're avoiding, it becomes the fuel your ecosystem runs on.
-
Making it stick - in the body, in the habits, in the actual working week.
After six weeks of building, this module is about making it all hold. Not in theory - in practice, in the body, in the rhythm of a real week. We do a full Notion Companion review: what's being used, what isn't, what needs adapting with live support. We introduce the small daily anchors that create measurable neurophysiological change over time. You complete a mid-programme self-assessment across finances, strategy, clarity, capacity, and energy: the first clear view of the distance you've already travelled. The somatic session asks: where are you now, compared to week one? What has genuinely shifted in the body and in the mind?
-
Momentum that compounds, not sprints that crash.
Execution breaks down when the nervous system treats action as threat. This module builds the conditions for consistent, sustainable output - not a high-output season followed by collapse, but momentum that accumulates week over week. We cover the operational execution layer: how to move from planning to doing without the lag of overthinking or avoidance. We build your content system, walk through launch mechanics as a repeatable sequence, and address the tech stack and processes that support consistent visibility. The somatic session this week works directly with freeze and procrastination - the tools that move the system from stuck to action without force. Because the goal isn't to push harder, it's to remove the conditions that make the pushing necessary.
-
Rest that is part of the system, not a break from it.
The first eight modules cover the core infrastructure: nervous system, vision, planning, finances, execution. This second integration week creates a genuine pause before the final phase - the work of sustainability, energy protection, and visibility that makes everything else last. A full Notion Companion review. A mid-programme vision check: is this still the vision, or has it evolved? A structured reflection comparing where you started to where you are now. The somatic session this week is integration work - letting the body consolidate what the mind has been building. This is what seasonality actually looks like inside a programme: not every week a sprint!
-
You can plant in the richest soil in the world and still work it to depletion.
Real boundaries don't come from willpower. They come from a capacity-full nervous system. This module addresses the patterns that quietly drain the energy the whole ecosystem needs to run - over-delivery, people-pleasing, difficulty resting, difficulty delegating - not as mindset issues but as physiological ones. We cover the nervous system basis of over-giving, the frameworks for knowing when you're ready to delegate or hire, and what an energetically protected week actually looks like inside your Notion Companion - recovery scheduled, not just tasks. The somatic session this week works with the cost of performing a version of yourself your business has quietly outgrown. What does it take to stop? This is the module that makes the whole system sustainable.
-
Your real voice, coming through clearly.
For most people, visibility activates the same threat circuitry as danger. It’s a nervous system doing exactly what it was built to do. This module uses somatic tools to resource the parts of the system that freeze, collapse, or over-perform when it's time to show up - so your real voice comes through clearly, consistently, and without it consuming everything you have. We cover the neuroscience of being seen, how to build content as capacity (regular, sustainable visibility is how tolerance for being seen expands, not a prerequisite for it), and how to own the specific voice that your combination of experience and expertise gives you. The week closes with a structured visibility challenge - sized to your current capacity. Proof that showing up doesn't have to feel like a threat.
-
The end of the programme, the beginning of the new ecosystem.
The final week is a consolidation - of the person, the system, and the momentum that's been building since week one. You'll review how the vision has evolved over 14 weeks, complete the final self-assessment against your mid-programme data, and read back your week-one journal entries - likely the most clarifying moment of the whole programme. We celebrate what actually happened inside this container. And we look at what comes next: how to use the Notion Companion as a standalone tool, how to sustain the rhythm without the container holding it, and what it looks like to keep growing from here. The final session closes the container properly - noting what the body is carrying from this experience, and what it's ready to put down. You don't leave with a to-do list, you leave as a different practitioner - one with a working ecosystem and the nervous system capacity to inhabit it.

Meet your hosts
Isabel spent 10 years inside the minds of users - leading experience design and behavioural science research for global companies, turning complex human behaviour into clear, actionable direction, all the while - she was ignoring her own.
That changed when burning out (and quite literally getting a whack to the face) in a career that looked great on paper forced a reckoning. Thinking and striving her way to wholeness wasn't working. So she went back to her body - and back to school. Twice.
Her gift has always been understanding what's really going on beneath the surface. In research and design, that meant spotting the patterns others missed and translating them into something people could actually use. Now, it means helping founders identify what's running their nervous system - and shifting it.
Today, she brings her professional expertise and qualifications (Somatic Experiencing, Integrative Psychotherapy, NeuroAffective Relational Model and Dynamic Attachment Re-patterning experience principles) to founders and entrepreneurs who are done pushing through - and ready to build from a place that genuinely feels sustainable, and like the rest from the rat race they intended.

Sasha
Sasha spent more than a decade building operational systems and leading teams inside high-growth tech companies, ultimately working up to the executive level across media, publishing, engineering, design, and product organizations.
Through her years of scaling teams and operations, Sasha realized growth wasn't a problem of talent or ambition. Infrastructure was often the sneaky culprit. And so, Sasha became a vocal advocate for systems that are shaped around the people using them.
These days, Sasha brings her stress-tested operational frameworks and philosophies directly to founders and practitioners through Systems Upgrade. She's giddy at the thought of participants developing operational confidence that allows them to dedicate more brain space to whatever it is they do best.
Sasha believes the best businesses rely on living systems that can adapt to, and evolve alongside, the changing seasons of work and life. Bonus points if they spark a bit of joy since you must return to them, day in and day out.
The change in you and your ecosystem by Week 14:
(01) Your week has roots, so do your months, quarters and years
The plans you make on Sunday don't wilt by Wednesday and the plans you make in January won’t have died off by June. Because the structure was grown around your actual capacity, your nervous system isn't fighting against it anymore.
(02) Your finances stop being weather you react to
You know your numbers, your buffer, your solid ground. What you can invest, what needs tending, what to charge - none of it driven by fear anymore. Instead of bracing for the storm, you are well protected, boundaried and assured that you will survive whatever life throws your way.
(03) Execution grows from the right conditions
You stop forcing output and start cultivating it. A nervous system with capacity and a working system create the conditions - action follows naturally. The exhausting push-pull of coercing yourself into motion only to crash a little while later? That's what you leave behind.
(04) Your body becomes the compass, not the obstacle
Fatigue, resistance, capacity, desire - you read them like soil. You stop overriding the signals and start working with them, gaining a deeper understanding and awareness of the impact that your life’s patterns and survival mechanisms have on your business ecosystem.
(05) Capacity to hold more expands
More clients, more visibility, more responsibility, and the system holds it. Not because you're pushing harder, but because the ground underneath you has more nutrients, making deeper, stronger roots possible.
(06) The business becomes something you tend, not something that runs you
The version of your work that’s been just out of reach - the summers off, the full bank account with less hours required - becomes an actual, integrated and implemented reality.
This is what we mean by upgrading your ecosystem.
Not another productive run followed by a burn. An ecosystem with roots - one that knows how to grow, how to rest, and how to hold whatever comes with the next season.
See you inside!
This is for you if:
You're already running a real business, and you're past the stage where motivation, another framework or another planner is going to fix what's going on.
You can feel that what needs to change is structural and physiological, not motivational.
You're tired of the procrastinate → panic → push → crash cycle costing you growth. You know it's not sustainable, and you're done pretending it is.
You want to build something that doesn't require all of you, all the time, just to keep it going. You want flexibility and space with the seasons life brings.
And you understand that requires both the operational architecture and the nervous system capacity to inhabit it, built together, not separately.
You can feel that what’s needed isn’t more doing, but rather, different conditions. A season of genuine rebuild - not a sprint to optimise, but a real re-planting of the ground underneath.
